Account Coordinator

The Account Coordinator is the primary liaison between the agency and the client. He/She is responsible for building and maintaining positive, high-level relations with all clients, including overall client satisfaction and management of expectations, while ensuring that the work is completed on strategy, on time and within budget.

In addition to upholding excellent client relations, he/she should also assist the accounts team in the daily servicing of all their clients and support other agency activities on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

» Maintain awareness of current research, the marketplace, the competitive environment, the client’s industry and the client’s position in order to recommend strategies/projects to the Supervisor

» Prepare project estimates and facilitate client authorization.

» Plans, coordinates, and directs advertising campaigns

» Completing media authorizations as needed and distribute to media and traffic.

» Provide production assistance including prop, talent, photo/film acquisition, release forms, and usage paperwork as required.

» Establish internal project deadlines and coordinate with traffic and creative to ensure that projects are of highest quality and completed on time.

» Complete jobs profitably as measured by the actual job billing versus project estimate.

» Prepare billing and budget reports.

» Attend and facilitate all status meetings, client meetings and client calls; deliver formal and informal presentations such as conference reports, memos, e-mails, etc. to clients as well as internal team members

» Identify opportunities for performance improvement and up-sell

» Serve as the brand steward on determining the client’s strategic brand objectives by leading the client, reassessing the brand position, and managing the internal team resources to best service the overall client account.

» Serve as an agency catalyst for implementing and achieving the client’s tactical marketing plan by working with internal team members and external client personnel to determine campaign tactics.
